- Some players when they hit wrongly the ball they injured their hands and for this reason they couldn't play during the season.
- Many players see as in cold weather, some of their fingers stay white and blood doesn't circulate through them (Raynaud's Syndrome)
- They fingers break sometimes.

In this first post we are going to write an introduction to the sport known as Pelota Vasca. The Pelota Vasca is a traditional sport that is practiced in the north of Spain (in the Basque Country, Navarra and La Rioja). There is also practiced in differents countries like: Cuba, Argentina, Uruguay, Venezuela, France, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Mexico. This sport has different specialties:
In this first post we are going to write an introduction to the sport known as Pelota Vasca. The Pelota Vasca is a traditional sport that is practiced in the north of Spain (in the Basque Country, Navarra and La Rioja). There is also practiced in differents countries like: Cuba, Argentina, Uruguay, Venezuela, France, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Mexico. This sport has different specialties:
- Pelota mano.
- Cesta punta.
- Frontenis.
- Share.
- Paleta goma.
The difference between these specialties is especially the implement with which you play.

PELOTA MANO
The athlete who practices this sport is called "pelotari" and you can play pelota vasca by teams or individually. The players will hit a ball in turns against a wall called "frontis" until they get a point. The place where you play pelota vasca is called "frontón". The objective in this sport will be ensure that our opponent is not able to hit the ball after it bounces off the wall. To finish this first post, I'm going to post a video so you can see how pelota manos is played.
